The Regensburg Maidult folk festival dates all the way back to the 10th century and welcomes many visitors every year. The family-friendly festival includes an amusement park with the well-renowned Ferris wheel, stalls, beer tents and the traditional Warendult.
The Dult is located on the Danube River across from the old medieval town and from the fairground, you will be able to take in the sight of the impressive St. Peters Dom and the picturesque Stone Bridge which dates back to the 12th century. The opening night and last Friday of the festival feature a fantastic firework display which is one of the main highlights.
