Our brand new 2016 brochure is just days away from being launched and so we thought we would give you a sneak peek at some of the deals in this week’s blog post. Something new, compared to past brochures, are the ‘Fred. Suggests’ boxes that pop up on various different pages. Although all of our holidays are tailor-made, these recommended trips are of the perfect length to see the main sights in that particular destination and will give you an idea of the kind of thing we can create.
So let’s take a look at some of our favourite suggested holidays.
Prague Food Festival
Of the many temporary events happening in the Czech capital next year, the Prague Food Festival is undoubtedly the most mouth-watering. The weekend from the 27th of May to the 29th of May 2016 will see ladened stalls line the grounds of the Royal garden outside Prague Castle. Celebrity chefs and established restaurants, as well as local independent producers, will be offering a range of foods that feature local ingredients.
Four nights will give you enough time to fill your boots (and stomachs) at the food festival and also discover the sights of Prague. You could climb to the top of the Petrin Observation Tower, admire the Astronomical Clock or simply enjoy a coffee at Café Slavia. Prices start from £399pp and tickets to the Prague Food Festival must be bought locally.
The Ultimate Paris Experience
When you travel to a city like Paris, it’s hard to decide what to do in the limited time you have. However, this suggested trip will help you cram in as much as possible and see many of the major sights this beautiful destination has to offer.
As well as flights and three nights’ accommodation at a four-star hotel, the price includes a cruise along the river Seine, an evening at the world-famous Moulin Rouge cabaret with half a bottle of Champagne and a romantic meal inside the Eiffel Tower. There will also be plenty of free time, which you can use to squeeze in a trip to the Notre Dame Cathedral or some shopping along the Champs-Élysées. Prices start at £699pp.
Munich and Salzburg Twin-Centre Stay
Experience the best of Germany and Austria during this twin-centre break to Munich and Salzburg. You will spend two nights in each location as you mix the hustle and bustle of the Bavarian capital with the stunning beauty of the Austrian Lake District.
Along with free time to explore at your own pace, the trip will include an ‘Austrian Lakes and Mountains Sightseeing Tour’ whilst in Salzburg. This will allow you to visit St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen on the edges of Wolfgangsee and the luxury resort at Castle Fuschl. As well as the beautiful scenery, the local food, beers and wines are sure to make their mark on you during your trip. Prices start from £439pp.
Amsterdam, Keukenhof Gardens And The Tulip Fields
In the spring time, green-fingered travellers flock to Amsterdam and the surrounding areas to enjoy the vibrant tulip displays that can be seen. The fields along the Belgian and Dutch Waterways are filled with different coloured bulbs, creating a spectacular effect where they seem to go on forever.
We suggest this trip should be taken within the months of April and May, in order to see the tulips in full bloom. Whilst you can explore the sights and sounds of Amsterdam during your four nights in the region, a visit to the impressive Keukenhof Gardens is also included in the fare. Prices start from £549pp.
If you like the sound of any of these tours, please get in touch by calling the number at the top of the page. Alternatively, if you want a copy of the brochure for yourself, you can request it here.
