I have travelled to many different countries however I really do believe that Barcelona is a gem of a destination. The fact that you have a 4-kilometre golden sand beach next to the architecturally beautiful city within a 10 minute walk so you can have your beach days as well as your culture fix all in one.

The food is another massive draw to Barcelona- you get everything from fresh fish served in an ocean front restaurant to tender meat dishes in unique hideaway venue. Transport links are great too, you can easily get from the airport to town within 30 minutes by bus!
