I visited Cologne in December 2015 for 2 Nights; I flew from London Stansted and used the FastTrack Security which I would highly recommend. Upon arrival in to Cologne we made our way to the train station which is all connected to the airport. We then took a 20 minute journey in to Cologne Hbf, we stayed at the Maritim Cologne Hotel which was a 10 minute walk from the Station.

I would highly recommend this hotel; it is in a great location right in the heart of the city and great for visiting all of the 7 Christmas Markets with the Neumarkt Christmas Market a stone’s throw away. We also visited Cologne Zoo and Aquarium which was about a 20 minute train journey from the City Centre but was well worth a visit. I really enjoyed Cologne it has so much to offer and will definitely visit again in the future.
