Baden-Baden invites guests from all over the world to visit its beautiful Christmas Market (“Christkindelsmarkt”) during the pre-Christmas season. Situated at the entrance of Baden-Baden’s splendid parks and gardens “Lichtentaler Allee”, the “Christkindelsmarkt” will draw all visitors into a romantic winter fairytale. From November 24th, 2022 to January 06th, 2023 visitors will get into the Christmas spirit with an incredible offering of seasonal sounds and mouth watering aromas as well as the beautiful display of festive huts, where thousands of shimmering Christmas lights create a magical atmosphere.

The market stretches from the Kurhaus Colonnades past the exclusive boutiques towards Baden-Baden’s impressive Kurhaus building. Almost 100 decorated stalls selling a great variety of Christmas arts and crafts as well as items such as handcrafts, wooden toys and decorative candles along with with delicate scarves and a wide selection of silver, amber and designer jewellery, fashion accessories, antiques and exquisite porcelain. All make perfect Christmas gifts or small souvenirs. Seasonal aromas of roasted almonds, gingerbread or traditional mulled wine fill the air and countless delicasies will delight and satisfy the tastebuds of all visitors while enjoying the special Christmas ambience.
