It was great to be invited on P&O Cruises newest ship Britannia for an overnight stay. The style reminded me of a top New York hotel with art deco patterns in white, navy and gold; and with various dining and entertainment venues dotted throughout the ship there is plenty of space for around 3600 passengers.

I would recommend Britannia for anyone who has not tried a cruise before. It is a British ship so everything is priced in pounds sterling, and there are so many activities to suit everyone such as a cookery school and modern theatre hosting dance lessons. For relaxation, there is an adult’s only private deck area with cabanas similar to that of a Miami Beach club – perfect when sailing one of Britannia’s 14 night Caribbean cruises!
