Look out across the Alps from an open-sided train on the side of a mountain, and see towering Mont Blanc from a different perspective. This week-long tour, based firstly in the French-speaking Bas-Valais region, before a shorter stay in the German-speaking part and a visit to the largest glacier in the Alps, shows you the variety found in just one region of Switzerland.

You'll enjoy an epic day trip to VerticAlp via the Mont Blanc Express, with incredible views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks, sip wine from the regions cellars and take in the Dent du Midi mountain range.

Also included is a full 8-day Swiss Travel Pass, so if you want to fit even more into this trip on your free days, you can enjoy your Swiss public transport as you please, plus entrances to museums - such as Barryland, an experience dedicated to the inimitable St. Bernard dog - where you can visit the dogs and learn about their history and care.
