Launched in 2025, Italy's new arrival to the world of luxury trains - La Dolce Vita Orient Express - represents a new dawn of high-end rail travel with several fantastic new itineraries.
Begin in Palermo with a pre night stay to explore the city, the following day your 2-night sumptuous cruise-on-the-rails will begin in Palermo, and travel in style through Taormina to Maratea, the “City of 44 churches,” with its azure Mediterranean vistas and idyllic beaches, before continuing to Rome where the journey ends. You then have an overnight stay in the "Eternal City".
All cabins feature ensuite facilities and are generous in size, starting from 7m2, with lower beds converting to a bed at night. Or upgrade to a suite, featuring a lounge area with separate, static bed and at 12m2, very spacious!
