I began my career in the travel industry after completing my Travel & Tourism qualification at Suffolk College. I have always been interested in travel, particularly airports and visiting different countries, which made pursuing a career in the industry a natural choice for me.

At 18, I joined Fred. Olsen Travel in the Administration department. During my time in Administration, my role involved issuing booking confirmations, collecting balance payments, and sending out passenger tickets. We also focused heavily on customer service, ensuring passengers had all the documentation they needed for their trips and assisting with any pre-holiday queries.

I spent a few years away from Fred. Olsen Travel when I relocated to London, where I worked in a corporate business hotel managing the groups department. In this role, I was responsible for coordinating group bookings, allocating rooms, and arranging conferences and meeting spaces along with booking their corporate apartments.

After returning to Ipswich, I rejoined Fred. Olsen Travel and resumed my role in the Administration department, where I progressed to Team Leader, overseeing a team of around 10 people.

After six years back in the Administration department, I decided it was time for a new challenge and was delighted to move into Business Travel. I’m excited to continue learning, developing my skills, and contributing to the team.
