SIERRA DE AITANA TREK
What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
* picking almonds and walnuts straight from the trees * views from the tops * rock formations
What did you think of your group leader?
He was superb. Organisation was excellent in all aspects. His command of English and humour were fantastic. He was justifiably very proud of his area.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
We think that it must be a hard grade B and you need to be fairly fit to keep up and enjoy the pace. Paths are rather rougher than many found in the Alps.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
The first 2 places we stayed were great. The last one was rather too rustic. Although it was described as having 4 bedrooms to 3 bathrooms in the main house, the reality was that one was on the floor below the bedrooms, one on the floor below that and the other outside. Our beds were quite uncomfortable.
