What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

The unexpected fun of walking/sliding down the scree slopes of Mount Vesuvius - a great adventure.

What did you think of your group leader?

Albert looked after the group well and knew the walks.  He was well connected with local people despite not speaking much Italian.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

If going in spring or autumn, come prepared for all weathers.  On our trip they aranged from pretty cold on the first day to getting really hot on the final day (I was caught out because I'd brought too wintry clothes). Personally I don't think that walking poles are necessary, but they have space ones at the hotel if you need them.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

This holiday is a fairly gentle experience, and most people were in their 50s/60s on my trip.  It shouldn't stretch anybody with reasonably fitness levels (though there is a fair amount of up and down on the walks, which is difficult to prepare for if you live in a flat part of the UK).
