What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

The first day walking and then canoeing was beautifu,l and the cycle through the fields was exceptional.

What did you think of your group leader?

Mark was organisation and calmness personified with a  firm hand on both the adults and kids in the party.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

It was a little chillier than I had expected, possibly due to the location in river valleys. I have camped extensively in southern France during the summer previosuly and had not found it this cool, so lesson learned. I had brought a 1 season sleeping bag - a 2 season bag is a must.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

A great trip - many of the parents expressed the desire to upgrade to small 2 or 3 star hotels - I think the kids enjoyed the camping, but possibly worth thinking about. Also , the final days canoeing went for quantity rather than quality -my crew found the 23km a bit long, I had no issue with the length, but it did place an onus on us to keep movign rather than taking time to enjoy the river slowly.
