DORDOGNE FAMILY ADVENTURE

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

There were some amazing views and more than one stunning medieval castle to take in.  The image of the dragonflies dancing around us on the water as we canoed down the rivers stays in my mind together with cycling through a field of sunflowers.

What did you think of your group leader?

Mark was excellent and the children loved him which added to the relaxed atmosphere of the week.  He was professional, friendly and knowledable striking just the right balance in every situation. He made the whole trip hang together.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

The Exodus trip notes and detailed description ensured we knew what to expect and had all the right things to ensure a comfortable holiday where everything is arranged for you. This is camping at its easiest.  Not having to think about or plan the activities ourselves made it a truly relaxing holiday.  Instead we could enjoy the walking, cycling, canoeing and amazing views in a group of families with similar interests.  The most taxing decision was what to choose from the evening menu at each restaurant!

Is there anything else you would like to add?

As soon as the holiday ended we were wondering how we were going to match it next year.
