CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: TRINS & THE THREE VALLEYS

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

On the Thursday Bob arranged for a visit and talk from the Gschnitzal valley mountain rescue. This provided a fascinating insight into the sort of activities which take place around Trins, and the dangerous work of the volunteers who provide assistance to people in difficulty.

What did you think of your group leader?

Bob is so well established in the area that the trip ran smoothly despite the poor snow conditions. He can best be described as part ski instructor, part tour guide, and part local. His ability in each area ensures that he can cater for the interests and abilities of everybody on the trip.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

This is a trip for those who wish for a ski holiday as well as a local experience. I think travellers looking to rack up some serious kilometers during the week should probably view another trip, but for those wishing to participate in 'ski-tourism' then Trins is perfect.
