Tivoli Gardens

Welcome to Tivoli Gardens, one of the Europe's most famous theme parks and the second oldest in the world after its opening in 1843. Attracting almost 5 million visitors year on year, Tivoli is one of the most popular seasonal theme parks in the world. The park is best known for its famous wooden roller coaster, the Mountain Coaster, built in 1914, it still operates today .

With an incredible variety of rides and attractions including a mammoth carousel, aquarium, theater, stunning pleasure gardens and open air music performances, there is everything you could need for a fun-filled holiday for the whole family.

Visitors to Tivoli Gardens will experience something different with every season, with specially designed programmes for Christmas, including a Christmas market, parades and Santa's grotto, Halloween including Halloween market stalls and a Monster parade, and New Year's Eve celebrations including a fireworks festival.

A trip to the Tivoli Gardens is easily combined with a city break to Copenhagen due to the fantastic central location. You could also take your break during the Christmas season and experience the twinkling lights of the Copenhagen Christmas Markets.
