It also held the world record for the tallest vertical loop on any roller-coaster and can reach speeds of over 65 mph.

Furius Baco

This incredible roller-coaster will test even the bravest as the 850 metre long ride will propel you from 0 to 135km per hour in just 3 seconds. 

Dragon Khan

This imposing roller coaster has become one of the emblems of the PortAventura theme park after opening in 1995. With speeds of up to 110 km per hour and eight loops in just 69 seconds this is one for the thrill seekers!

Grand Canyon Rapids

Climb aboard and hold on tight as you are constantly spun by the current of the rapids, while the gunmen watching you from their hiding places to cool off with water pistols.

How To Get There

Located in Tarragona, 110km south-west of Barcelona, PortAventura can be easily reached from the UK by car, train or plane.

The nearest airport is Barcelona–El Prat Airport and we are happy to quote for flights and transfers.

Park opening hours for 2017

18.03 - 31.10.2017: from 10am to 7pm*.

Between 24.06 - 31.08.2017 the park operates longer opening hours between 10am to 12pm*.

The park is also open select days in November, December and January between 10am to 7pm

PortAventura features 21 themed restaurants, bars and coffee shops as well as several snack bars across its six themed districts.
