Eastern Europe Rail Holiday

Berlin is a fantastic base from which to explore the rest of Germany and Eastern Europe and one of Fred.\ Holiday's favourite ways to do this is by train! Three of the most historically important cities in modern times are visited on this 10 day rail holiday from Berlin to Cologne. Berlin is an ever-changing city that is at the centre of modern Europe, a city that radiates history and is crucial to most of the social, economic and political changes of the last centuries. Your three night stay in the city enables you to discover highlights such as the modern Potsdamer Platz, remnants of the Wall, and a vast selection of operas, theatres, cabaret and concerts. Then, it's on to Prague, full of baroque domes, gothic castles, renaissance palaces, Art Nouveau facades and winding cobbled streets. Vienna offers great music and impressive buildings dating from the Habsburg Empire. These three cities are combined with stopovers in Munich and Cologne, which offer an abundance of historical monuments, fantastic architecture and an impressive array of local cuisine…
