Bayreuth Music Festival

Held in Bayreuth, Germany, the Bayreuth Music Festival is an annual event which sees performances of operas by the 19th-century German composer, Richard Wagner. This spectacular display is held in a uniquely designed theatre, which was constructed under the supervision of Wagner himself to ensure it was able to fully deliver his vision.

Each year sees a different display brought to the stage of this iconic venue, which showcases the very best Wagner. Today, the Bayreuth Music Festival is overseen by the Richard Wagner Foundation, the members of which include two of Wagner’s descendants.
