With claims of being the biggest exhibition of its kind in Europe, the Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival takes place between September and October every year and offers around 1,000 types of beverage. In addition to being able to taste the various beers and whiskies on offer, the Stockholm Beer Festival also offers the opportunity to attend an ale appreciation class.

It's not just beer and whisky on offer, though, as there will also be a chance to sample local and international cider and calvados, as well as hand-made chocolates designed to pair perfectly with the drinks available. The exhibitors include Swedish brewers and distillers such as Stigbergets and Mackmyra along with internationally recognised brands like Guinness and Glenfiddich.
