Baden-Baden Highlights

Beautifully situated at the foothills of the Black Forest, this elegant thermal spa resort and international cultural metropolis, Baden- Baden offers a wellness at the two thermal baths. Combine this with the many art and cultural pleasures, at the "Festspielhaus" - Europe's second largest opera and concert hall - and at the Museum Frieder Burda. Germany's oldest and according to Marlene Dietrich, "the most beautiful casino in the world," rounds off a perfect day in a playful manner.

The springs have been known for more than 2000 years and attracted the rich and famous. Known worldwide as the "World Spa Resort in the Black Forest" the exclusive oasis for spa, beauty and wellness is a paradise for those who cherish life's pleasures and wish to recharge their batteries. The casino is over 200 years old and was the inspiration for one of the more famous visitors, Dostoyevsky, to write 'The Gambler'. The city offers a backdrop of palatial villas, tree lined avenues and beautiful gardens.
