Itinerary
1
Day 1
Depart UK – Western Sicily

Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Later meet with your guide and enjoy a welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour.

Day 2
Erice/Marsala/Selinunte

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Erice to visit the town and Marsala, where we will take a tasting tour at a winery. After enjoying a lunch stop you will visit the archaeological site of Selinunte, then on to Agrigento before arriving at the hotel for dinner.

Please note if the roads to Erice are closed, we will visit Trapani.

Day 3
Agrigento/Piazza Armerina

After breakfast at the hotel, we visit the Valley of the Temples and then Piazza Armerina. After stopping for lunch we take a tour of the Villa Romana del Casale and then leave for Eastern Sicily to reach the hotel for dinner.

Day 4
Etna/Taormina

After breakfast start today with a tour to Mount Etna by coach up to 1900 metres, with a possibility to extend the tour (additional cost EUR 65 per person with direct payment) by 4x4 bus and to visit the main craters with a local and qualified guide. Once the tour is over, we will leave for Taormina where we visit the Ancient Theatre with free time to explore.

Day 5
Siracusa/Noto

After breakfast we leave for Siracusa to visit the historic centre (Ortigia) with the Temple of Minerva and the Fountain of Arethusa, the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Latomie and the Ear of Dionysius. Later stop for lunch and in the afternoon we visit Noto and take a nice walk in its old town, before returning to the hotel.

Day 6
Catania/Cefalù

Today we travel to Catania where we take a walk in its city centre with free time to explore along with a stop for a snack with a Sicilian rice ball or an ice cream, or granita with brioche (depending on the season). Next we leave for Cefalù, where you can enjoy some free time to explore the town after lunch. Later we travel to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7
Palermo/Monreale

After breakfast enjoy a tour of Palermo city centre, the Cathedral and the Cloister of Monreale. After lunch enjoy free time in the city before returning to the hotel.

Day 8
Western Sicily – Arrive UK

After breakfast, depart the hotel at your leisure for your return flight to the UK.
