Itinerary
1
Day 1
Depart UK – Naples or Surroundings

Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Later meet with your guide and enjoy a welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour.

Day 2
Island of Capri

After breakfast depart for Capri, a wonderful little town, full of nature, history and entertainment. Visit Villa S. Michele and then stop for lunch. After lunch visit the Gardens of Augustus to admire the famous Faraglioni and Marina Piccola. Enjoy free time to explore before meeting at the jetty to go back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3
The Excavations of Pompeii/Mount Vesuvius

After breakfast at the hotel start your tour of Mount Vesuvius by coach travelling up 1.000 metres (Optional Extra - visit the crater at an altitude of approximately 1280 metres - not included in the price). After lunch travel to Pompeii before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4
Naples

After breakfast explore Naples beginning with a tour of the historic centre: the Church of Santa Chiara with the Cloister, the Cathedral of San Gennaro, the workshops of San Gregorio Armeno and historical monuments. After lunch continue the tour by panoramic bus with a stop in Piazza Plebiscito to visit the Royal Palace, one of the four residences used by the Bourbons of Naples during the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. We will then leave for Salerno (or surroundings) where we will reach the hotel for dinner.

Day 5
Sorrento/Positano*/Amalfi

After breakfast at the hotel we leave for Sorrento to visit the town, then Positano, a real jewel anchored to the rock, where you will enjoy some free time. After we travel to Amalfi by motorboat, where we will have free time for lunch and to visit the town. After we travel back to Salerno, by motorboat, and to the hotel for dinner.

 

Please note: motorboat transfers are available from 18/04 to 18/10. In case of adverse weather conditions and during other periods the motorboat is replaced by coach transfers.

Day 6
Ruins of Paestum/Salerno

After breakfast at the hotel, we leave for Paestum, to visit the ruins and the museum. Lunch will be served at a farm, where we will also taste some delicious buffalo products. Next we will visit the cellar to see all grape processing phases. After we travel back to Salerno to take a walk along the main street and to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7
Caserta Royal Palace

After breakfast at the hotel, we leave for Caserta, to visit the majestic Royal Palace and the park. After lunch, we travel to Naples or surroundings and to the hotel for you to spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8
Naples or Surroundings – Arrive UK

After breakfast, depart the hotel at your leisure for your return flight to the UK.
